Job Title: Senior SQL Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior SQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration, design, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement databases using SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Maintain databases by performing regular backups and restores.
  • Manage deployments and ensure best practices are followed.
  • Collaborate with the security team to ensure database security.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to databases.
  • Work with other IT team members to ensure system availability and performance.
  • Create Change Management Requests with IT and Development.
  • Support reporting team members with database queries and data requirements.
  • Provide Power BI support.
  • Work with the development team on AI integrations.
  • Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
  • Optimize Power BI data models for performance and scalability.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources into Power BI.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a DBA with a focus on SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Excellent knowledge of database administration, design, and maintenance.
  • Experience with database migrations and deployments.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work during US Central time zone hours.
  • Experience working with vendor support is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Change Management processes.
  • Experience supporting reporting team members with database queries and data requirements.
  • Experience providing Power BI support.
  • Familiarity with AI integrations.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.

Location: Ahmedabad / Vadodara (WFO)
