Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics AX Consultant to support our enterprise application environment, with a strong focus on data extraction, transformation, and performance optimization.

About the Role

The ideal candidate must have a deep knowledge of AX modules and be proficient in SQL development. Responsibilities include understanding and supporting all core Dynamics AX modules, debugging existing customizations, tracing and understanding business logic, extracting and transforming data, writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, performing pre- and post-validation, and creating documentation for SQL processes, data mappings, and validation steps.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (2012 or later).
  • Strong knowledge of X++ development and AX architecture.
  • Proficiency in MS SQL Server and query optimization.
  • Experience with data migration, transformation, and validation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, minimal-supervision environment.
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing scripts.
  • Solid understanding of stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
  • Knowledge of data conversion best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
