Expert Dynamics AX Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to drive enterprise application excellence, focusing on data extraction, transformation, and performance optimization.

  • Primary Responsibilities:
  • Support all core Dynamics AX modules, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Inventory Management (IM), Fixed Assets (FA), and Projects.
  • Delve independently into complex concepts after a high-level knowledge transfer.
  • Debug existing AX customizations, trace, and understand business logic in X++ and SQL.
  • Extract and transform data from Microsoft SQL Server, write and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting and migration.
  • Perform thorough pre- and post-validation to ensure data quality, create documentation for SQL processes, data mappings, and validation steps.
  • Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX (2012 or later).
  • Strong understanding of X++ development and AX architecture.
  • Proficiency in MS SQL Server and query optimization.
  • Experience with data migration, transformation, and validation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, minimal-supervision environment.
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing the scripts.
  • Solid comprehension of stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
  • Knowledge of data conversion best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Familiarity with other database systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) is a plus.
