Job Opportunity: Data Engineering Expert

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Engineering & Development: Spearhead the creation and maintenance of a robust data lake, integrating insight platforms to support informed decision-making across the organization.
  • Data Ingestion and Warehousing: Consolidate disparate datasets to drive business insights and growth. Design ETLs to ingest data into the warehouse and lake, as well as end-user reporting applications.
  • Collaboration and Requirements Definition: Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams to define requirements and deliver flexible, scalable solutions.
  • Business Intelligence Solutions: Drive business intelligence from concept to deployment: defining requirements, modeling data, designing ETLs, metadata management, reporting, and dashboarding.
  • Data Management: Apply expertise in designing, creating, managing, and utilizing large datasets for business success.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Transformation Experience: Proven experience in transforming data using Azure Data Factory.
  • Cloud Technologies: Proficiency in working with Spark and Azure Databricks.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to balance competing priorities with high attention to detail. Strong verbal/written communication & data presentation skills, including concise summary and effective team communication.
  • Scripting Language Expertise: Familiarity with Python, PySpark, or JavaScript.
  • NoSQL Database Knowledge: Acquaintance with Azure Databricks and MPP databases.
