Job Title: Azure Lead MS-SQL DBA

 

  • Overview:
  • As a seasoned Azure and MS-SQL expert, we are seeking an exceptional professional to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing Microsoft SQL Server databases within the Azure cloud environment.
  • Mandatory Skills:

  • Upgrade, Migration, Encryption of MS-SQL Instances
  • Detailed Responsibilities:
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security of data for various applications.
  • Provision, configure, and manage Azure SQL Databases, Managed Instances, and SQL Server on Azure Virtual Machines.
  • Design, implement, and monitor HA/DR strategies such as Always On Availability Groups, geo-replication, and failover groups.
  • Plan and execute robust backup and restore operations, validate recovery procedures, and ensure compliance with Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) and Recovery Time Objectives (RTO).
  • Monitor database performance using Azure Monitor, SQL Insights, and Query Store.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks by optimizing queries, indexes, and resource allocation.

 

Requirements:

We are looking for a highly skilled individual with 8+ years of experience working on Azure MS-SQL databases. The ideal candidate must have experience in designing and architecture of Public cloud environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also required.

Working Conditions:

This is a contract-to-hire position, and immediate joiners are preferred.
