Data Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Data Engineer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, including Azure cloud services, data storage, and visualization tools.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing, building, and maintaining complex data solutions. They should be proficient in TSQL, SSRS, ETL, and Azure Synapse, with a good understanding of data warehousing and data modeling concepts.

Responsibilities include:

  • Understanding business requirements and designing effective data solutions
  • Architecting, implementing, and maintaining warehouse and reporting solutions
  • Extracting data from various sources and consolidating it into a data warehouse or lake
  • Ensuring data accessibility and structure for reporting needs
  • Setting up dashboards and reports using data visualization tools
  • Building resilient, secure, and cost-effective solutions
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 10+ years of experience with SQL Servers and relational databases
  • Strong experience with querying and optimizing complex data sets
  • Expertise in data engineering or related roles
  • Experience with Azure cloud technologies, including ADF, Functions, DLS, Synapse, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
