As an Area Sales Manager for Central Vacuum and Ventilation Systems, you will drive market expansion and revenue growth in your territory. This role is ideal for fresh B-school post-graduates with technical acumen, offering a dynamic environment where sales passion meets technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for central vacuum systems and ventilation products in your designated area, aligned with the company's business objectives.
  • Set and achieve sales targets and objectives within the assigned territory, regularly monitoring and reporting on sales performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, including architects, builders, contractors, and homeowners, to understand their requirements and offer suitable solutions.
  • Acquire an in-depth understanding of our central vacuum systems and ventilation products, staying updated on technical specifications, features, and benefits to effectively communicate these to customers.
  • Provide technical advice and solutions to customers, addressing their specific needs and demonstrating the value of our products.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands. Use this knowledge to develop pricing and product strategies that can give us a competitive edge.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers, showcasing the advantages of our products.
  • Collaborate with the technical support team to ensure timely resolution of customer issues and concerns, and provide post-sale support as needed.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer support, and product development, to ensure a seamless customer experience and address customer requirements effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and feedback, and provide regular reports to management.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical field, and preferably an MBA from a reputed business school.
  • Strong technical background and an aptitude for understanding complex technical products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of customers.
  • Proven sales and negotiation skills, with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Previous sales experience or a background in selling technical products is a plus but not mandatory.
