About the Role

As a Product Sales Representative at Rentokil Initial, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets and building strong relationships with distributors and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Collection

• Achieve sales targets and collection targets.

• Monitor outstanding payments and implement a strict credit policy.

Market Relations

• Develop and maintain a strong distribution network.

• Provide market infrastructure and maintain regular communication with customers.

• Identify and train distributors to improve sales performance.

• Conduct SWOT analysis of the market and distributors.

• Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and market trends.

• Motivate distributors and sales teams to achieve sales targets.

• Conduct regular reviews with distributors and sales teams to discuss sales performance.

Sales Promotion

• Utilize promotional materials and display them in the market.

• Assist distributors in liquidating stocks and implementing company trade schemes.

• Participate in exhibitions, product promotions, and customer awareness programs.

• Plan and execute sales promotion budgets and schemes.

• Manage distributor inventory and settle claims.

• Visit farmers and their fields to promote bio-products.

• Visit hospitals, industries, and government institutions to promote industrial products.

• Collect orders from dealers, distributors, and institutions.

Key Role

• Monitor distributor indents and execute them.

• Identify and explore new market segments and develop new areas.

• Maintain regular communication with key and institutional customers.

• Build good relations with government departments.

• Attend customer complaints and resolve issues.

• Continuously look for new business opportunities.

• Ensure trade schemes are operated properly by distributors.

Focus Areas

• Ensure profitability on each case.

• Reduce damaged stocks and market returns.

• Analyze competitor activities and market information.

• Minimize outstanding payments and recover amounts quickly.

• Maintain a positive attitude, honesty, punctuality, and discipline.

Admin Responsibilities

• Comply with government licenses, sales permissions, and other government rules.

• Maintain proper documentation and update sales and collection records.

• Analyze sales data monthly to improve results.

• Control costs and maintain financial discipline.

Key Result Areas:

• Achieve sales and collection targets.

• Maintain credit control.

• Expand distributor and retailer network as planned.

• Ensure market secondaries.

• Reduce market returns and damages.

• Implement tasks defined by the branch head, including daily activity reporting.

Competencies:

• Distributor and dealer management skills.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Sales pitching of all existing and new products.

• Ability to deliver sales and collections under pressure.

• Team player and good working relations with the team and reporting manager.

Educational Qualification:

• A graduate or postgraduate degree in any discipline is required.

• Candidates without a degree must demonstrate a proven track record in sales.

• Experience: 1-3 years in sales.

• Languages Known: Local language and English.
