About This Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Production Support Engineer to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our production systems.

  • Utilize technical and analytical skills to resolve complex customer/field technical escalations from various teams.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to develop solutions for customer reported issues.
  • Participate in daily meetings to update the development team on ongoing escalations and their statuses.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of highly technical customer escalations with clear expectations and timelines.
  • Development of tools and techniques to facilitate root cause analysis using available data and code base insights.
  • Reduction of time to resolve product issues through prompt fixing after RCA.
  • Timely updates to issue reporting teams to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
  • Collaboration with Product management to identify and implement backlog requirements adding value to the product.
Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 6+ years' experience in technical product support, preferably in escalations teams.
  • Experience as L3 escalation engineer handling complex customer issues.
  • Software development experience using Java technologies.
  • Good understanding and working experience of MySQL/MariaDB/RDBMS and database concepts.
  • Proficiency in Microservice architecture environments on AWS.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for customer/support/field reported issues.
  • Possess passion, curiosity, integrity, and outstanding attention to detail while performing tasks. A team player who thrives in collaborative environments.
