Job Title: Enterprise Database Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Database Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our database operations, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance databases that meet the organization's requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain MySQL Enterprise databases with optimal performance and scalability.
  • Migrate databases from MySQL to MariaDB and vice versa.
  • Configure and troubleshoot MySQL Enterprise Monitor (MEM) and Oracle Enterprise Monitor (OEM).
  • Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies using mysqldump and mysqlpump.
  • Set up InnoDB Cluster and Master-Slave replication configurations.
  • Troubleshoot database performance issues and optimize database functionality.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop high-performance database solutions.
  • Provide expertise in public cloud services (AWS/Azure) to support database operations.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with MySQL Enterprise versions and products.
  • Strong knowledge of database administration, including permissions, recovery, security, and monitoring.
  • Familiarity with MariaDB and NoSQL databases is a plus.
  • Good communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Ability to plan and coordinate projects with multiple stakeholders.
