About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Database Specialist to design and manage scalable database configurations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create data storage solutions for homogeneous/heterogeneous environments.
  • Develop automation scripts using programming languages.
  • Optimize database performance, query efficiency, and infrastructure.
  • Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with developers and system administrators to enhance database operations.
  • Design resiliency strategies and cloud-based database solutions.
  • Manage database migrations and upgrades.
  • Monitor performance, troubleshoot data corruption, and handle backups/recovery.
  • Document database structures and maintain incident management processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science or related field.
  • 2-12 years of experience with database architecture, configuration, and performance tuning.
  • Proficiency in SQL, index defragmentation, re-indexing, query optimization, and client/server connectivity.
  • Strong experience in automating tasks, replication monitoring, and backup scheduling.
  • Knowledge of integration, scripting, and ITIL framework.
  • Excellent problem-solving, team collaboration, and presentation skills.
