Enterprise Database Administration

We are seeking a skilled Oracle enterprise database specialist with expertise in the administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of large-scale Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2 environments.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in administering and managing Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2) environments, including installation, configuration, patching, cloning, and upgrades.
  • Key responsibilities include performing database administration tasks such as backup & recovery, performance tuning, and space management.
  • The successful candidate will apply Oracle EBS patches and updates while ensuring minimal downtime, monitor and troubleshoot performance issues in both Oracle Applications and Database environments, and work closely with developers, functional teams, and infrastructure teams to support ongoing operations.
  • This role requires managing Concurrent Managers, Workflow, and Forms/Reports Server within Oracle EBS, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability of Oracle EBS and database systems, handling cloning and refresh activities for development and test environments, and implementing and maintaining Oracle WebLogic Server and OHS (Oracle HTTP Server) for R12.2.
  • A collaborative approach is required to automate and script routine DBA tasks.
Requirements

To succeed in this challenging role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in Oracle EBS R12.2 administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Expertise in database administration, including backup & recovery, performance tuning, and space management.
  • Knowledge of Oracle EBS patching and update processes, with experience in applying patches while minimizing downtime.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Applications and Database environments, with the ability to monitor and troubleshoot performance issues.
  • Collaborative skills, with experience working with developers, functional teams, and infrastructure teams to support ongoing operations.
