Business Development Specialist
  • Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with corporate clients to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Job Purpose:
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand client base, increase revenue streams, and enhance financial product offerings.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their financial goals, challenges, and opportunities, and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Acquisition:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted marketing efforts and relationship-building activities.
  • Develop and execute plans to acquire new clients in the mid-corporate sector.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their financial needs are met.
  • Understand clients' financial goals, challenges, and opportunities, and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Deal Structuring:
  • Collaborate with clients to structure financial deals that meet their specific needs and requirements.
  • Prepare and present proposals to clients, highlighting the benefits of our financial products and services.
  • Credit Solutions:
  • Offer credit solutions, including working capital facilities, overdrafts, term loans, and other financial products, to help clients achieve their financial objectives.
  • Assess creditworthiness and risk factors associated with clients, and provide recommendations for mitigating risks.
  • Portfolio Growth:
  • Focus on portfolio growth by cross-selling financial products and services to existing clients.
  • Achieve budgetary targets for Net Interest Income (NII) and fee income by developing and implementing effective strategies to drive growth.
  • Financial Analysis:
  • Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess client performance and risks.
  • Develop insights to enhance client portfolios and drive business growth.
  • Compliance:
  • Ensure strict compliance with all regulatory and company regulations, processes, and policies.
Qualification:
  • Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline.
