Job Title: Dark Store Manager

This role oversees operational excellence in assigned retail stores and dark stores.

About This Role
  • Operational Management
    • Oversight of daily store operations ensures smooth functioning.
    • Ordering, indenting, receiving, storage, GRN, billing, and material movement are managed effectively.
    • Inventory management is accurate, with timely replenishment of stocks.
    • Adherence to company SOPs across all operational areas is monitored and driven.
  • Team & People Management
    • Store teams are built, led, trained, and motivated to achieve operational excellence.
    • The stores are equipped with proper staff members at all times, and teams can be built for new units.
    • Optimal manpower planning, rostering, and productivity are ensured on a regular basis.
  • Process & Compliance
    • Hygiene, safety, and compliance standards are implemented and monitored.
    • Timely renewals of licenses and regulatory requirements are coordinated.
    • 100% adherence to product quality and handling protocols is ensured.
  • Last Mile Deliveries
    • Last-mile delivery processes ensure accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.
    • Cordination with agencies for dedicated last mile bikers and optimal usage of 3PL App riders is done.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
    • Liaison with central teams for maintenance, marketing activations, and real estate requirements is done.
    • Work closely with procurement, finance, and HR for smooth alignment of processes.
  • Reporting & Analysis
    • Store performance metrics (sales, shrinkage, wastage, manpower costs, customer feedback) are tracked.
    • Weekly and monthly reports as per shared formats are prepared and presented.
