Senior Associate - Retail Banking Operations Specialist

Key Responsibilities and Objectives

  • Chargeback Resolution: Minimize financial exposure by promptly addressing daily chargebacks. Accurately document investigations to defend against unwarranted claims.
  • Dispute Analysis: Examine dispute data to identify high-risk merchants, transactions, or patterns contributing to chargebacks. Collaborate with merchants to implement preventive measures and best practices.
  • Process Optimization & Risk Management: Develop, implement, and refine operational processes for chargeback handling and dispute resolution. Maintain robust financial controls, ensuring compliance with internal risk policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, promotions, and operations teams to assess the impact of new initiatives and campaigns on risk exposure. Provide input during product design and rollout to embed risk controls from inception.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve disputes and address chargebacks.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Analyze complex data and develop creative solutions to minimize financial exposure and optimize operational processes.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
