This Lease Accounting Specialist role offers a unique opportunity to work with leading businesses, develop expertise in game-changing real estate initiatives, and make lasting professional connections.The Lease Accounting Team is part of Portfolio Management and plays a crucial role in helping clients achieve compliance with new lease accounting standards. You will have the chance to provide an end-to-end process for seamless transition into the new standard, ensuring undisturbed ongoing reporting and reliable data for financial statements and disclosure reporting.This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent knowledge of IFRS 16 / ASC 842 topics, and experience in finance and accounting. You must be able to communicate effectively, build strong relationships, and support client-side real estate / finance teams with regular reporting and ad-hoc queries / information requests.We are looking for a highly skilled individual with:
  • Fluent English
  • Excellent knowledge of IFRS 16 / ASC 842 topics
  • Financial and accounting acumen
  • Bachelors / M.A. degree in Finance / Accounting or Economics
  • At least 5 years of work experience within finance and accounting area
  • Very good knowledge of MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
