The role of a Commercial Banking Centre Head at Axis Bank is pivotal in driving the commercial banking business forward. With a strong focus on working capital related facilities, trade loans, and cash management solutions, this position plays a crucial part in shaping the bank's financial landscape.

As a key member of our team, the Commercial Banking Centre Head will be responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships with clients to increase revenue and net interest income. This involves achieving targets for individual products such as letters of credit, guarantees, trade loans, and overdrafts.

We are seeking an experienced professional who can establish and strengthen relations with key customers, enhance credit relationships, and generate sustained business. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of commercial banking products and services, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.

To succeed in this role, you will need to:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with commercial banking customers to increase top line, fee income, and net interest income.
  • Achieve targets for individual products such as Working Capital (WC), Bank Guarantee (BG), Letter of Credit (LC), Overdraft (OD), Demand Overdraft (DOD), Trade Forex, and Time Deposit (TOD).
  • Establish and strengthen relations with key customers to enhance credit relationships and generate sustained business.
  • Identify and convert potential customers who can be sold tailored products to enhance product penetration.
  • Deepen existing relationships by cross-selling liability and asset products to new and existing customers.
  • Maintain a healthy portfolio and monitor delinquency rates.
  • Ensure optimal limit utilization by clients.
  • Monitor proposals for renewal and participate in the sanctioning process.
  • Interact with various departments to ensure smooth delivery of credit and other services.
  • Ensure compliance with due processes and guidelines.
  • Create a performance-oriented environment leading to high employee motivation and productivity.

For this role, we offer a competitive salary range of ₹1,500,000 - ₹2,500,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you are a results-driven professional with excellent communication skills and a passion for commercial banking, please apply.

Key Qualifications:

Graduation/Post-Graduation from a recognized institute.

Role Proficiencies:

Knowledge of credit, banking products, and services; ability to manage complex client situations; good communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills; ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines; good networking and relationship-building skills.
