Culinary Operations Manager

Culinary Operations
Responsibilities:
* Assign detailed tasks to team members and provide guidance on their work.
* Ensure personal cleanliness and proper deportment of all team members.
* Collaborate with the Chef De Cuisine to optimize food materials usage and minimize waste.
* Discuss menu price adjustments with the Chef De Cuisine.
* Verify the taste, temperature, and visual appeal of prepared food items.
* Store equipment and perishable items in designated areas and maintain a high level of hygiene.
* Prevent contamination and ensure colleagues who are ill do not handle food.
* Suggest new recipes and products to enhance quality or reduce costs.
* Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure adherence to safety, health, and security policies.
Team Management
Responsibilities:
* Motivate and supervise team members to meet guest needs and organizational standards.
* Interview, select, and recruit team members.
* Identify and develop team members with potential.
* Conduct performance reviews and maintain staff training records.
* Prepare weekly staff schedules based on business needs and standards.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Familiarize yourself with hotel fire and life safety procedures.
* Ensure adherence to hotel food safety and hygiene standards.
* Attend briefings, meetings, and trainings as assigned.
* Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
* Perform other reasonable duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
Requirements:
* Minimum primary school education.
* Additional certifications from a reputable culinary school are an advantage.
* Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
* Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
* Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages is an advantage.
