Job Overview:

We seek a visionary leader to spearhead our Vertical Transportation initiative in India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain insights into the Indian Vertical Transportation market, including competitors, authorities, and regulations
  • Develop a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with our growth objectives
  • Establish TüV SÜD as a premier Vertical Transportation authority in India through effective sales channels and customer relationship management
  • Coordinate with global VT experts for joint customer presentations and visits
  • Monitor key industry events such as trade fairs, exhibitions, and conferences and ensure seamless participation
  • Ensure smooth operations in accordance with our Quality Management System (QMS) and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction
  • Prepare regular progress reports and manage resources, including recruitment, development, and training of VT experts

Requirements:

  • Results-driven personality with strong leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build lasting relationships
  • Drive for shaping business development and sales activities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in local languages and English (min. B2 level)
  • Good presentation skills
  • Strategic and analytical thinking skills
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • MS office software skills
  • Mobility, flexibility, and willingness for business trips in the region
  • Team player

Desired Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of lift technology and industry
  • Familiarity with inspections and certifications of Vertical Transportation, further training will be provided upon joining

Education:

  • Bachelor Engineering degree (electrical, mechanical)
  • Master degree would be beneficial, particularly a business-oriented one
