At a global education company, we are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Business Development Specialist to drive growth and strategic partnerships.
This role involves expanding our network of schools and universities, developing collaborations with education service providers, and increasing brand presence. The ideal candidate is focused on increasing revenue streams through strategic partnerships.
- Identify and develop relationships with schools, universities, and education service providers across different regions.
- Build and execute strategic collaborations with international schools, test prep providers, and university admissions teams.
The Business Development Specialist will work closely with internal teams to facilitate smooth onboarding and collaboration with new partners.
Responsibilities:
- Business Growth & Partnerships:
- Develop outreach strategies to engage with key decision-makers in the education sector and beyond.
- Represent the company at conferences, seminars, and networking events to establish and grow relationships.
- Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students/applicants to discuss university options and finalizing university lists, academic pathways, and career goals.
- Assist students with applications, including essays, personal statements, and supplemental documents.
- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities in different regions.
- Initiate phone and video calls with prospective clients (students, parents, and schools).
- Ensure a high-quality experience for students, parents, and partners.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution (preferably in Business, Marketing, or a related field).
- 2-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships (experience in education is a plus but not mandatory).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build and manage multiple partnerships simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Zoho preferred).
