About the Role:
This is a dynamic and engaging opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our footwear department. As a key member of the design team, you will play a vital role in developing innovative concepts, sketches, and mood boards that drive product development.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent research skills, with the ability to analyze global and local fashion/footwear trends, consumer insights, and competitor products. You will work closely with vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality samples and materials.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers to develop new footwear concepts and designs.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends and competitor activity.
- Support the production process by coordinating sampling, material selection, and technical specifications.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and vendors to ensure smooth sample follow-ups.
- Prepare presentations, range plans, and product catalogs to showcase our latest collections.
- Maintain accurate documentation of product details, costing sheets, and style references.
- Assist in photoshoots, merchandising displays, and social media/product content when required.
- Provide general administrative support to the footwear department.
