Job Title: Project Intern

Location: Bangalore

Department: Project

Reporting To: Founder

Duration: 3 Months internship (extendable based on performance)

About the Role

  • This internship provides hands-on exposure to estimation, costing, budgeting, procurement, and site execution, while also developing technical and managerial skills essential for a career in construction and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist in quantity take-off, estimation, and costing for civil, structural, and finishing works.
  2. Support preparation of BOQs, project budgets, and cost comparisons using MS Excel.
  3. Develop and maintain Excel-based dashboards, cost-tracking reports, and project documentation.
  4. Interpret and analyze AutoCAD drawings, architectural and structural plans.
  5. Contribute to project schedules, progress monitoring, and site execution support.
  6. Coordinate with vendors for procurement, material tracking, and vendor evaluation.
  7. Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety norms, and project specifications.
  8. Participate in site visits, inspections, and project review meetings for real-world exposure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or final-year student) in Civil Engineering.
  • Knowledge of estimation, costing, and budgeting practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (dashboards, formulas, reports).
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of construction processes, procurement, and project management tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
