Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Computer Systems Support Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys guiding students through hands-on learning experiences and has a knack for simplifying complex concepts.

As a Computer Systems Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our Computer Science & Engineering department by assisting faculty in conducting lab sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate CSE courses. You will also be responsible for preparing lab materials, setting up equipment, and ensuring smooth functioning of lab infrastructure. Additionally, you will guide students in executing programming assignments, simulations, and hardware experiments, monitor student progress, and provide technical support during lab hours.

Your expertise will also be instrumental in maintaining lab safety protocols and ensuring proper usage of software and hardware resources. Furthermore, you will support in organizing workshops, coding competitions, and tech events that promote innovation and collaboration among students and faculty.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. You should also possess excellent knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C/C++), development tools, and software engineering concepts. Prior experience in academic labs or technical training is highly preferred.

Moreover, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively with students, faculty, and other stakeholders. Your ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently is crucial in this role. Additionally, your familiarity with operating systems, databases, networking, and software engineering concepts will serve as a valuable asset in delivering high-quality support services.
