Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer support experiences.

This individual must have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and at least 2 years of experience providing customer-facing technical support. Excellent communication skills are also essential.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to comprehend, modify server-side object-oriented JavaScript, Unix Shell scripting, and Windows scripting. They should also be familiar with protocols such as HTTP, TCP, FTP/SFTP, SOAP, and REST, as well as troubleshooting tools like Wireshark and Traceroute.

A strong understanding of server administration across OS platforms, including user permission levels, domain configuration, group policy objects, and execution of SUDO Policies is required. The ability to troubleshoot root cause isolation skills, creative problem-solving approach, and strong analytical skills are also necessary.

In order to succeed in this role, the candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A fundamental understanding of ITOM, CMDB, and ITIL business process is also desirable.

Preferred qualifications include solid understanding of object-oriented programming skills, previous experience working with the ServiceNow platform, and familiarity with tools & practices of the trade.
