
Government Sales Leader – Cloud Solutions

Job Description:
As a seasoned sales professional, you will lead the development of strategic partnerships with government agencies to promote cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity solutions.
- Identify key decision-makers in central and state government departments, PSUs, and other public sector bodies to build long-term relationships.
- Drive revenue growth by strategically selling cloud, AI, and cybersecurity solutions. Develop new opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Present tailored solutions using cloud, AI, and cybersecurity technologies to address customer pain points.
- Collaborate closely with pre-sales and technical teams to deliver compelling proposals.
- Develop account plans to map customer needs, budget cycles, competitive landscape, and expansion opportunities.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA preferred). 3-5 years of experience in enterprise or government sales, with a focus on cloud, AI, or cybersecurity solutions.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in the government/public sector.
- Strong understanding of the public procurement process, including GeM, eProcurement platforms, and tender management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel as required.
Ambitious individuals with prior experience working with central or state government agencies are desirable. Relevant technical certifications or knowledge in cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), AI, or cybersecurity is a strong advantage.
Familiarity with data residency, compliance, and regulatory requirements in the public sector is also beneficial.
