Mumbai Food Territory Sales Manager

As a Territory Sales Officer in the food industry, your primary role will be to promote and sell premixes to bakeries and other outlets. This requires identifying customers and demonstrating products, explaining consistency and convenience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. You will achieve business targets for your area, including value, volume objectives, distribution targets, and adherence to sales policies and strategies.
  2. You will call on nominated customers, with frequency and duration aligned with agreed work state and cost-effective journey plan.
  3. You will prepare a monthly plan for specified customers to achieve volume targets by product group.
  4. You will extend product distribution and usage in all potential customers and increase volume sales.
  5. You will control and evaluate accounts, ensuring all receivables align with credit policy.
  6. You will maintain an accurate understanding of major territory outlets' importance by product group and overall significance to target achievement.
  7. You will organize and maintain an effective admin system, including customer records, daily call reports, expenses, work plan, and meet required deadlines for completion.
  8. You will develop knowledge of all facets of the B&F market, including new selling techniques, consumer needs, and customer business issues.
  9. You will arrange and implement demonstrations and exhibitions to capitalize on opportunities for the B&F business.
  10. You will ensure agreed promotions are fully implemented and leveraged.
Requirements
  • You should have a graduate degree (preferably with hotel management experience).
  • You should have 1-2 years of experience in selling (preferably B2B concept selling or in hospitality industry), with exposure to distributor handling.
  • You should possess:
    • Familiarity with the food, catering, and baking industry.
    • Awareness of the territory to be covered.
    • Local language skills.
