Candidate Brief: VP – Retention, Cross-sell & Upsell

  • Experienced professional with 10+ years in corporate sales, specializing in retention, cross-selling, and upselling within Employee Health & Benefits and SaaS domains.
  • Proven track record of engaging with C-level executives (CXOs) to drive business growth, deepen client relationships, and enhance customer lifetime value.
  • Deep understanding of Employee Health & Benefits insurance solutions, benefits consulting, technology platforms, and service delivery models in a SaaS-enabled environment.
  • Skilled in developing and executing sales strategies that focus on retention, cross-sell and upsell opportunities to ensure consistent revenue flow and client satisfaction.
  • Strong capability to coordinate with multiple internal teams and external partners to deliver holistic client engagement, including benefit strategy, employee communication, wellness consulting, and technology enablement.
  • Analytical and results-driven, with excellent communication and relationship management skills, able to manage complex stakeholder ecosystems and negotiate at senior levels.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with a commitment to on-site presence for team collaboration and client engagement.
  • Holds an MBA degree from a prestigious institute, proficient in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook), and adept at using CRM and analytics platforms to drive business insights and personalized sales approaches.
