Internal Auditor Role

The Internal Auditor role is a critical position within our organization, responsible for ensuring the integrity of our internal controls and processes.

As an Internal Auditor, you will be tasked with coordinating audit activities, including preparing audit checklists and issuing half-yearly audit circulars. You will also be responsible for reviewing internal audit reports and escalating violations for disciplinary action.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will be required to draft meeting agendas, minutes, and action letters, as well as coordinate penalty debits with the accounts team and address member queries.

You will also play a key role in data analysis and reporting, collecting and analyzing data from other exchanges and internal teams for member evaluation. This will involve using analytics tools to generate reports and flag high-risk or financially stressed members.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for scoping and monitoring limited purpose inspections based on risk triggers, as well as reviewing reports from regional offices and sharing findings with regulatory bodies when required.

As part of your IT coordination responsibilities, you will liaise with IT for system enhancement requests and UAT testing, ensuring accurate release of updates in the live environment.

Additionally, you will be responsible for driving process improvements and submitting updates to the business excellence team, responding to regulatory and member compliance queries, and maintaining regulatory records.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience as a Chartered Accountant or MBA-Finance professional.
