Corporate Attorney Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Attorney to provide legal guidance on corporate, commercial, and contractual matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT services and consulting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and vendor agreements.
  • Provide legal advice on corporate governance, compliance, employment, and regulatory matters to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Support business teams in client negotiations and facilitate deal closures while ensuring risk-mitigated solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection, IT laws, and international regulations, including GDPR and HIPAA.
  • Manage legal risks and proactively provide strategic advice to leadership.
  • Liaise with external counsel for litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution.
  • Develop policies, processes, and compliance frameworks for global operations.
  • Conduct internal training and awareness sessions on compliance and legal best practices.
Requirements:
  • Hold a degree in Law from a recognized institution.
  • Have at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law, preferably in IT services or consulting organizations.
  • Exhibit strong expertise in contract drafting and negotiation, particularly with international clients.
  • Familiarity with data privacy, intellectual property, labor, and employment laws.
  • Display excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Be able to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a mid-to-large IT services/consulting company.
  • Exposure to multi-jurisdictional contracts and cross-border legal issues.
  • Membership in a Bar Council / Corporate Legal Association is beneficial.
