Job Title: Corporate Counsel

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced legal professional to lead our team in matters related to employment law, contract management, and compliance.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and managing various legal documents and agreements to ensure alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Drafting and Reviewing Employment Agreements: Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, and align with company policies.
  • Bonus and Commission Agreements: Prepare and review to support performance-based compensation structures, and ensure compliance with tax laws.
  • Client Contracts: Draft and negotiate to protect company interests, and clearly outline deliverables.
  • Vendor Contracts: Manage Corp-to-Corp (C2C) and 1099 independent contractor agreements, with attention to classification risks and regulatory compliance.
  • Unemployment Claims: Review and respond, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external agencies to represent company interests.
  • Workers' Compensation Insurance Claims: Handle documentation, communication with insurance providers, and ensure legal compliance.
  • State Labor Departments and Agencies: Serve as the point of contact for communication, addressing compliance requirements, regulatory updates, and legal correspondence.
  • Internal Teams: Support with legal research, policy development, and training on legal procedures as needed.
