Lead Corporate Compliance Specialist

A highly experienced legal professional is required to serve as a senior advisor in our legal department. The successful candidate will have a strong background in corporate compliance and be able to provide legal and compliance solutions to business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an efficient whistleblower program with global reach, comprising seven pillars of a robust corporate compliance program.
- Conduct investigations on various issues and negotiate remediations.
- Contribute to the development of the Compliance & Integrity Plan and its reviews, preparing action plans, resolving problems, identifying trends, determining system improvements, and implementing changes.
- Gain exposure and understanding of key compliance and regulatory regimes applicable to the industry, including Whistleblower Regulations, Anti-Bribery - Anti-Corruption, Anti-Trust, Confidentiality, and commensurate process and controls.
- Review and improve whistleblower systems and employee feedback mechanisms in collaboration with HR.
- Plan, organize, and conduct trainings and communications to enhance and grow the whistleblower program in line with best industry standards of cultural assurance.
- Interpret new regulations by reviewing and analyzing proposed and adopted legislation and regulations.
- Proactively develop policy administration, trainings, and regular communications.
- Effectively handle complaints and investigations and remediation processes.
- Collaborate with various functions to assist in expansion efforts.
- Advise on public policy, working closely with government relations teams.
- Support company positions by developing responses and defenses to complaints, investigations, and administrative proceedings.
- Demonstrate ability to effectively identify legal solutions to solve complex business issues and advise internal customers with precise counsel.
