
Software Services Business Development Professional

We are seeking a skilled and results-driven individual to join our software services team as a Business Development Professional. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing new business opportunities using multiple strategies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients in target industries for software development, IT consulting, and digital transformation services.
- Utilize various channels such as Apollo, email campaigns, CRM tools, industry directories, and networking events to generate qualified leads.
- Maintain an accurate and relevant database of prospects.
- Cultivate initial connections via cold calls, emails, social selling to engage prospects and understand their needs.
- Evaluate leads based on budget, authority, need, timeline.
- Schedule appointments and transfer qualified opportunities to the sales team.
- Collaborate with marketing to refine lead generation campaigns.
- Analyze and report lead generation activities, conversion rates, and pipeline growth using CRM systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience (2–4 years) in business development, lead generation, or inside sales within IT/software services.
- Strong understanding of software services such as custom software development, web/mobile app development, cloud solutions, and IT consulting.
- Excellent communication skills with decision-makers.
- Strong research skills and ability to identify high-quality leads.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently and in teams.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Experience working with international clients.
- Familiarity with outbound and inbound lead generation strategies.
