Human Resources Expert

This role requires a highly skilled and experienced professional with expertise in Training & Development, Performance Management, Talent Management, Industrial Relations, Statutory Compliance, and HR Automation within large manufacturing organizations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving workforce capability, improving engagement, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading HR process digitization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Training & Development:
    • Identify training needs and create comprehensive HRD calendars aligned with business objectives
    • Design and implement customized learning modules for all levels of employees
    • Manage training budgets and ensure cost-effective delivery of programs
    • Evaluate and select internal/external trainers for skill-building initiatives
    • Coordinate internal and external training sessions across departments
    • Maintain training records and matrices; ensure timely updates and compliance
    • Collect, analyze, and act on training feedback to improve effectiveness
    • Conduct training effectiveness reviews and implement improvement actions
    • Facilitate eLearning programs and act as HR eFacilitator at the unit level
    • Conduct detailed skill mapping for all employees to identify competency gaps
    • Organize workers' education programs to improve operational efficiency
  • Performance Management & Career Planning:
    • Design and streamline the organization's Performance Management System (PMS)
    • Facilitate KRA and goal-setting processes across the management cadre
    • Coordinate PMS cycles including probation confirmations, annual appraisals, and feedback sessions
    • Finalize performance ratings using Bell Curve methodology
    • Facilitate promotion interviews and ensure seamless documentation and communication
    • Manage Mail Merge-based performance letter rollouts to employees
    • Operate a dedicated PMS Help Desk for timely query resolution
    • Introduce and implement Rewards & Recognition initiatives and incentive structures
    • Develop and deploy structured career and succession planning processes
  • Talent Management & Employee Engagement:
    • Coordinate Development Assessment Centers for rating validation
    • Create and facilitate Individual Development Plans (IDPs)
    • Conduct consensus discussions to determine employee career paths
    • Lead Organizational Health Survey (OHS) implementation and follow-up actions
    • Develop and track OHS action plans; coordinate with department heads for periodic reviews
    • Promote and sustain a culture of high engagement and development
  • Industrial Relations & Relationship Management:
    • Handle union negotiations and long-term agreement discussions
    • Resolve grievances effectively while maintaining strong employee-management relations
    • Maintain extensive networks and positive engagement with cross-functional teams
    • Represent HR leadership at the plant level with strong command over IR issues
  • Compensation Management:
    • Maintain records for salaries, increments, and performance-linked incentives
    • Update compensation structures based on internal and market-driven needs
  • Statutory Compliance & Audits:
    • Maintain statutory records for PF, ESIC, PT, and LWF across all branches
    • Manage calculations, remittances, return filing, and payment challans
    • Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws
    • Conduct internal and external HR audits and ensure timely resolution of findings
  • HR Automation & Process Digitization:
    • Implement end-to-end Onboarding and Exit Portal (Clearance Process)
    • Develop Organizational Charts and synchronize HR MIS with SAP HANA OM module
    • Create and manage digital dashboards for performance tracking and reporting
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Proficient in SAP HR, SAP HANA, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and HRIS tools
    • Develop digital performance monitoring systems integrated with SAP and reporting tools
