Job Title: Compensation SpecialistKey Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and timely payroll records for all employees, adhering to labor laws and tax regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures related to payroll processing.
  • Coordinate with HR for employee onboarding/offboarding, promotions, and other payroll-impacting changes.
  • Process payroll deductions, benefits, garnishments, bonuses, and other compensation-related components.
  • Prepare reports for internal use and external audits, providing insights into payroll operations.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, and earnings, offering expert guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with Finance to reconcile payroll-related accounts, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
  • Assist with year-end activities, such as tax form distribution (e.g., W-2, Form 16).
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably with strong knowledge of payroll software and HRIS systems.
  • Familiarity with local labor laws and payroll compliance regulations, including ADP, SAP, Workday, and similar platforms.
  • High attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under pressure.
