IT Security Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled IT security professional to join our team as an IT Security Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for executing regular vulnerability scans, collaborating with infrastructure and application teams, and tracking remediation progress.
Key Responsibilities:- Executing regular vulnerability scans using patch management processes.
- Collaborating with infrastructure and application teams to ensure timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
- Tracking remediation progress and maintaining up-to-date dashboards and reports.
In addition to these key responsibilities, the successful candidate will provide L2-level technical support and mentorship to junior team members, maintain vulnerability dashboards, and prepare regulatory compliance reports. This individual will also engage with Security Operations and L3 teams for critical issue resolution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Strong understanding of patch management processes.
- Familiarity with CVE/CVSS scoring systems and threat prioritization.
- Proficiency in generating and maintaining dashboards and reports.
