Job Title: Senior IT Leader

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the university's technology infrastructure and services.

  • Oversee daily IT operations, including network availability, server performance, and system uptime.
  • Provide advanced technical support for hardware (desktops, laptops, servers, printers) and software issues for faculty, staff, and students.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and maintain the university's wired and wireless networks (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi access points, routers, switches).
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure network security.
  • Manage and maintain server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers.
Technical Requirements:
  • Proficiency in administering Windows Server environments (Active Directory, Group Policy).
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, Firewalls, Routers, Switches).
  • Experience with Firewall, Endpoint Protection System (EPS), and Intune Mobile Device Management (MDM) administration.
Desirable Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.

This position involves a blend of hands-on technical support, system administration, and project coordination. The ideal candidate will contribute to the strategic implementation and maintenance of IT solutions that support the academic, administrative, and research needs of the university community.
