Job Title: System Support Engineer

The role of System Support Engineer requires a skilled professional to provide comprehensive production support for tax management systems and their integration with enterprise resource planning platforms.

This position demands both taxation expertise and technical troubleshooting capabilities to ensure accurate tax calculations and seamless system operations across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities include maintaining and troubleshooting tax calculation rules, tax jurisdictions, and product taxability assignments, ensuring accuracy of tax rates, exemptions, and tax determinations, and managing tax configuration, tax categories, and exemption certificates within the tax management system.

Additionally, this role involves supporting tax reporting and compliance, handling tax accruals and reconciliations, receiving and prioritizing support tickets, providing timely solutions to users, documenting resolution steps and knowledge base articles, and monitoring system performance and recommending improvements.

Technical skills required include proficiency in SQL and data analysis, experience troubleshooting API integrations and data feeds, and familiarity with SOX audit requirements for tax processes.

This position also involves utilizing the support website for issue resolution, creating and managing support tickets, accessing knowledge base articles, release notes, and patches, and following up on issue resolutions and tracking service requests.
