Job Title: Closure Door Trim Lead

Closure door trim is a pivotal role within the body engineering department, focusing on interior components of new or ongoing programs. It requires leadership experience in resolving business, technical, and process issues within project teams.

The selected candidate will lead the engineering design, technical development, and delivery of these components, ensuring timely launch and meeting program requirements. This involves owning commodities and components of various projects, overseeing their quality, cost, and timeline.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning and managing multiple projects from concept to launch, including commodity planning and technical development.
  • Delivering high-quality results within tight timelines and budgets.
  • Managing change requests, expenditure forecasting, and supplier teams to meet program milestones.
  • Developing and implementing design verification test plans, including detailed planning and testing stages.
  • Collaborating with A-surface teams to resolve compatibility issues and develop designs that meet vehicle targets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Production/Automotive Engineering.
  • Leadership experience in resolving business, technical, and process issues within project teams.
  • Good working knowledge of product creation and delivery processes, including change control and product definition.
  • Knowledge of automotive body cabin systems, materials, design rules, and related processes.
  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D geometry using CATIA V5/V6/TCE/Digibuck, as well as CATIA V5 and V6.
  • Excellent communication skills, demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels.
