Job Title: Experienced Cockpit Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cockpit Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with expertise in the design, development, and testing of cockpit systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of sub-systems and deliverables for all aspects of defined components within the Cockpit Console commodities and Interior Trims.
  • Establish and maintain cross-functional representation and input from relevant areas.
  • Ensure design progression from concept to engineering sign-off and gateways.
  • Manage teamwork plans aligned to vehicle programs.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance of systems, sub-systems, and components.
  • Define engineering targets to meet function, quality, and attribute requirements.
  • Develop and maintain design validation plans, including in-house and supplier testing.
  • Lead failure mode avoidance activities, including DFMEA and DFA/DFM reviews.

Requirements:
  • Proven project management capability with recent delivery success.
  • Extensive experience in right-first-time development and integration of cockpit console commodities and interior trims.
  • Detailed engineering knowledge of design, function, performance, production, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Ability to manage costs through engineering knowledge and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills with cross-functional teams.
  • PC literacy in Microsoft tools, including Project, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Significant experience in using engineering tools, such as FMEA, Agile, or Scrum.

Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
