Key Responsibilities:
  • Develops, implements, and oversees all aspects of system design, development, and validation of medical device systems and products.
  • Knowledge of product development, clinical requirements, and regulatory requirements is required.
  • Investigates and evaluates existing technologies in partnership with various teams.
  • Leads the development of new concepts from initial design to market release and sustain products already on the field.
  • Ensures timely delivery of the system for design characterization, verification, and validation testing.
  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure efficient operation.
  • Provides strong technical leadership skills to guide and mentor engineers involved in the system SI&T process.
  • Drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the systems verification and validation processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree with minimum 15+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience managing a cross-functional engineering technical team size of 20 or more.
  • Blend of people management and technical savviness is required.
  • Deep understanding of embedded and application SW development processes (Agile, waterfall methodology) and in establishing metrics & recommended processes for the team.

Must have passion for learning new things and inspiring a team to show vision.
