**Design Engineer - Closure Systems
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative vehicle closure mechanisms. Your expertise in CAD software and detailed engineering analysis will drive the creation of efficient and reliable systems.
**Required Qualifications & Skills:**

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or related fields.
- 4 to 8 years experience in designing automotive closure systems (latches, regulators, handles, etc.).
- Expertise in CAD (e.g., CATIA V5/SolidWorks) and detailed engineering analysis.
- Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes, validation, and simulation tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Design and develop vehicle closure mechanisms including latches, window regulators, check straps, outer door handles, locks, and their related kinematics using CAD software (typically CATIA).
- Evaluate, test, and validate designs through simulation and physical prototypes, ensuring robust function, manufacturability, safety, and durability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and customer experience.
- Release components and manage the full lifecycle from concept, architecture, supplier engagement, BOM management, and production support.
