Finance Leadership Role

This is a senior finance leadership position that requires a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead the company's financial strategy, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and manage capital and liquidity.

The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in finance, strong leadership skills, and a strategic mindset to partner closely with the CEO, Board, investors, and regulators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the company's financial strategy in alignment with business growth goals.
  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
  • Provide financial insights to the CEO/Board to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee accounting, audits, taxation, and statutory reporting functions.
  • Strengthen internal controls and ensure robust management information systems (MIS) and financial governance practices.
  • Implement efficient systems for cash-flow management, cost optimization, and profitability tracking.
  • Manage liquidity, treasury operations, and working capital effectively.
  • Support fundraising initiatives, including debt, equity, co-lending, and securitization.
  • Ensure optimal capital utilization and healthy balance sheet management practices.
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and drive risk management frameworks.
  • Lead internal and external audits with timely closure of observations.
  • Build strong relationships with banks, rating agencies, auditors, and regulators.
  • Present accurate, timely financial performance to the Board and investors.
  • Support investor relations and due diligence for fundraises.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8+ years of relevant finance experience.
  • Strong background in finance and accounting with exposure to MSME lending preferred.
  • Proven expertise in financial planning, compliance, treasury, and risk management.
  • Experience in debt/equity fundraising and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to lead teams and establish high standards of financial governance.
