Customer Retention Strategist - D2C Beauty Brand

We're seeking a highly skilled Customer Retention Strategist to join our team and drive customer engagement for our fast-growing D2C beauty brand. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in CRM, retention, and customer engagement to deliver personalized experiences that drive loyalty and retention.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute customer retention journeys: Develop strategic plans to onboard, engage, repeat, cross-sell, win-back, and prevent churn through targeted CRM campaigns.
  • Enhance Repeat Purchase Rate, AOV, and CLV: Implement data-driven strategies to increase repeat purchases, average order value, and customer lifetime value through targeted CRM initiatives.
  • Segment customers using RFM: Utilize Recency, Frequency, and Monetary analysis to segment customers and inform retention strategies.
  • Own CRM campaigns: Develop and execute CRM campaigns across email, SMS, WhatsApp, and push notifications with sharp personalization to drive engagement and retention.
  • Collaborate with performance marketing teams: Work closely with performance marketing teams to craft high-converting retention campaigns that meet business objectives.
  • Ensure consistent brand voice and empathy: Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice and tone that reflects empathy and care in all CRM communications.
  • Strengthen Loyalty Program: Develop and implement strategies to enhance the loyalty program, driving sign-ups, redemptions, and customer delight.
  • Develop VIP & Subscriber Programs: Design and execute programs to improve customer lifetime value and retention rates.
  • Partner with CX teams: Collaborate with customer experience teams to ensure issue resolution translates into retention opportunities.
  • Track key retention metrics: Monitor and analyze key retention metrics, including repeat rate, churn percentage, LTV, CAC:CLV ratio, and ROAS on retention.
  • Run A/B tests: Conduct regular A/B testing to optimize messaging, cadence, and offers to drive better results.
  • Build weekly dashboards and insights: Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and insights to inform leadership decisions.
Required Skills & Experience:
  1. 3-5 years of experience in CRM, Retention, or Customer Engagement in D2C/Consumer Brands.
  2. Strong knowledge of CRM tools, automation, and analytics platforms.
  3. Analytical mindset with comfort working with data, cohort analysis, and A/B testing.
  4. Creative thinker with ability to personalize content and storytelling.
  5. Strong understanding of customer empathy and solution-driven communication.
  6. Exposure to eCommerce/beauty/wellness industry preferred.
