Job Title: Process Engineer for Simulation and OTS Design

Location: Not specified, but ideal for those with flexible work arrangements.

Experience: 6 to 10 years in process control, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in simulation projects. Preference given to candidates with strong expertise in Aspen Plus, HYSYS, and other similar tools.

Industry: Oil and Gas, Chemicals, and related fields. We encourage applications from individuals with diverse backgrounds and skills.

Responsibilities
  • We seek a skilled process engineer to develop and validate process simulations using cutting-edge tools like Aspen Plus, HYSYS, and more.
  • Model building, tuning, and integration of models in OTS software and other applications is a key responsibility.
  • The selected candidate will simulate normal operations, hot or cold start-up, complete or partial shutdown operations, and steady state and dynamic simulations for various processes.
  • Heat and mass balance calculations, hydraulic analysis, and equipment sizing for unit operations are also essential tasks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred but not required.
  • Implementation experience in simulation software such as Petro-Sim, MIMIC, OmegaLand, UniSim Design, ASPEN HYSYS, DYNSIM, and similar platforms.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in automation systems, particularly in the Chemical, Petro-chemical, Oil And Gas, and Pharmaceutical domains.
  • Candidates should have excellent communication skills and be able to generate documentation such as FDS, DDS, MAT, and FAT procedures.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of closed-loop control (computer, DCS, PID control), MVC tuning concepts, APC, and MES.
