Electrical System Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Electrical System Design Engineer to lead our electrical system and power electronics design activities. This role involves defining architecture, system and component-level requirements, performing analysis on new architectures/products, and ensuring design and development meets certification standards & requirements.

About the Role:

  • Lead electrical system and power electronics design activities.
  • Define architecture, system and component-level requirements.
  • Perform analysis (FMECA, simulations, modeling, etc.) on new architectures/products.
  • Ensure design and development meets certification standards & requirements.

Key Skills:

  • Strong hold on power supply design, power converters, analog & digital control,MOSFETs/GaNs, gate driver circuitry, transformer/inductor design, etc.
  • Experienced in multiple product development stages - circuit design, simulations & analysis, manufacturing and validation.
  • Experienced in modeling & simulation tools such as Spice, MATLAB / Simulink,
  • PSIM and PCB Design tools such as Eagle/OrCad/Altium.
  • Familiar with Solar arrays/MPPT/Battery/BMS/Wiring Harness topics.

  • Bachelors/Masters (Electrical/Power Electronics/Equivalent)
  • 5+ years of experience
