Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Process Engineer to design and optimize column internals for high-efficiency solutions.

As a key member of our process design team, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing trays, structured packings, random packings, distributors, and demisters to improve mass transfer and separation processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize column internals for high-efficiency solutions.
  • Conduct process simulations and calculations for distillation, absorption, and stripping applications.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and production teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturing compatibility of internals.
  • Perform hydraulic and efficiency calculations to recommend suitable internals for specific process requirements.
  • Provide technical support and customer consultations to sales and marketing teams.
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot operational issues in installed column internals to enhance performance.
  • Prepare technical reports, datasheets, and proposals for clients.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognized university.
  • 2-5 years of experience in process design, mass transfer, or column internals manufacturing.
  • Optional: Proficiency in process simulation tools such as Aspen Plus, HYSYS, or ChemCAD.
  • Strong understanding of distillation, absorption, extraction, and phase separation principles.
  • Knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat & mass transfer, thermodynamics, and pressure drop calculations.
