Job Summary

The Business Lead for Rare Diseases in South will be responsible for leading a cluster of states/regions and driving the growth of Takeda's Rare Diseases franchise within the cluster/region. This role will involve developing and executing business plans, marketing strategies, and sales initiatives to achieve commercial goals and strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery of commercial goals and other strategic priorities, including revenue growth and product mix
  • Developing a strong operating rhythm to monitor and achieve sales volumes, tracked in regular CCFT
  • Providing supply chain with periodic forecasts by product and taking accountability for forecast accuracy
  • Aligning and driving all marketing, medical, and market access efforts at the region/state level to support sales outcomes
  • Managing performance of BAMs through regular reviews and coaching
  • Leading and managing KOLs and other key stakeholders
  • Monitoring and tracking KPIs
  • Acting as a champion of ethics and compliance
  • Team development, engagement, and retention

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science/Pharma. An MBA would be a plus.
  • At least 13-15 years of experience working in a commercial role, with at least 2-3 years of experience managing a team.
  • Experience working in the pharma or healthcare sector is a must, public market and cross-functional experience is preferred.
