Case Study Writer

The Case Study Writer will partner with faculty to research, develop, write and publish high-quality business case studies for academic instruction. They will demonstrate strong narrative craft, analytical rigour and familiarity with pedagogy in business education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough market, industry and organisational research to gather data for case study development.
  • Collaborate with faculty to clarify objectives, learning outcomes and case formats.
  • Write case studies that include background context, decision points, alternative courses of action, supporting data and teaching notes.
  • Ensure factual accuracy through verification and citations; maintain academic integrity.
  • Revise drafts based on feedback from faculty/stakeholders; ensure clarity, relevancy and engagement.
  • Support the process of preparing cases for external publishing or inclusion in printed/in-house outlets.
  • Meet project timelines and manage multiple case writing assignments simultaneously.
Qualifications:
  • A master's degree in Business/Management/Case Writing/Communications or a related field; PhD preferred.
  • Proven publication record: at least 10 completed and published case studies or similar works.
  • Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills in English; ability to compose narratives that are analytically strong, engaging and pedagogically sound.
  • Strong research skills, including interviewing, data gathering, qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Familiarity with business case formats and experience in academic settings or business school pedagogies.
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with faculty and stakeholders.
  • Good time management skills and ability to deliver under deadlines.
