Job Title: Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, where you will play a key role in shaping our recruitment strategy and building a high-performing workforce.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement end-to-end recruitment strategies to meet business needs during peak periods.
  2. Partner with store leadership to identify staffing requirements and develop targeted plans to address these needs.
  3. Maintain a robust talent pipeline while ensuring adherence to brand standards and values.
Training & Development:
  1. Design training programs that equip employees with product knowledge, customer interaction skills, and brand storytelling abilities.
  2. Conduct onboarding programs that immerse new hires in our history, vision, and values.
  3. Establish a culture of continuous learning through workshops, peer learning, and upskilling initiatives.
Performance Management:
  1. Implement performance appraisal systems that align employee goals with business objectives, customer satisfaction, and product expertise.
  2. Ensure objective and transparent performance reviews.
  3. Support leadership in building high-performing retail teams.
Employee Engagement & Relations:
  1. Foster a work environment that reflects our traditional roots and customer-first philosophy.
  2. Resolve interpersonal or team-related issues with empathy and neutrality.
  3. Champion employee engagement through recognition programs, cultural events, and wellness initiatives.
Policy Compliance & Governance:
  1. Ensure compliance with labour regulations, jewellery trade mandates, and internal ethical guidelines.
  2. Revise HR policies to align with evolving workforce expectations and legal standards.
Compensation, Payroll & Benefits:
  1. Oversee timely payroll disbursal and statutory contributions.
  2. Design incentive programs for retail and sales staff during promotional periods.
  3. Benchmark compensation with industry standards, maintaining fairness and competitiveness.
HR Systems, Reporting & Analytics:
  1. Manage HR records and reporting through digital or legacy systems.
  2. Monitor HR metrics such as attrition, absenteeism, training impact, and staffing efficiency.
  3. Present strategic insights to management for data-driven HR decisions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A strong grasp of South Indian jewellery retail nuances.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership capabilities with high emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to balance traditional brand values with modern HR practices.
  • Hands-on experience managing staff across multiple showrooms or locations.
  • Proficiency in HRMS, attendance systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Educational Qualifications:
  • A Master's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
  • Certifications in HR strategy or employee engagement are advantageous.
