Job Title: Lead Kitchen Associate

This role is responsible for assisting in the management of a kitchen team, focusing on the successful accomplishment of daily objectives.

  • The Lead Kitchen Associate will lead staff members while contributing to the overall success of the kitchen operation.

Candidate Profile

  • To be considered for this position, you should have:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; 4 years of experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related field.
  • OR
  • A 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field; 2 years of experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related field.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintaining Culinary Standards and Responsibilities
  • Ensure adherence to food handling and sanitation standards.
  • Perform duties of Culinary and related kitchen area employees during peak periods.
  • Oversee production and preparation of culinary items.
  • Ensure work areas are clean and sanitary.
SUPPORTING CULINARY TEAM ACTIVITIES
  • Supervise daily shift operations.
  • Ensure all employees have necessary supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
  • Supervise staffing levels to meet operational needs and guest service expectations.
MaintAINING CULINARY GOALS
  • Participate in department meetings to communicate goals and objectives.
  • Support new menu concepts and promotions.
PROVIDING EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE
  • Set a positive example for guest relations.
  • Empower employees to provide excellent customer service.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Report malfunctions in department equipment.
  • Purchase necessary supplies within budget.
  • Attend and participate in relevant meetings.
